Ingredients
A pack of Savoury Jalapeno Biscuit Dough
A whole pack of spaghetti
1/2 bag grated mozzarella (or dairy-free alternative)
A whole bag of grated cheddar (or dairy-free alternative)
2 tbsp butter (or dairy-free alternative)
2-3 tbsp oat flour
A pint of milk (or milk alternative)
1 tbsp whole grain mustard
Handful chopped chives
3 chopped spring onions
Take your cheesy pasta dish to the next level with a Jalapeño Biscuit Dough crumb.
Method
Step 1: preheat oven to 180 conventional and then get those biscuits in! Keep them in for around 18 mins until slightly crisp.
Step 2: melt butter in a large non-stick frying pan then add the oat flour. It will get clumpy but don’t worry just trust the process.
Step 3: add in the milk (could use oat milk) little by little. Slowly add it whole, constantly mixing with a wooden spoon so you don’t get loads of lumps. When all the milk is added it should look a bit watery – fear not! The cheese will thicken it up.
Step 4: add all the cheese and keep the sauce moving until it’s melted and delicious. Then add the mustard.
Step 5: get a whole pack of spaghetti boiling, reserving a little pasta water in case you need to loosen the sauce. Once the pasta is almost cooked, drain it then add to the cheese sauce. Add the chives and spring onions and make sure all the sauce and inclusions are incorporated.
Step 6: serve this comforting and delicious pasta up with a good crumbling of biscuits on top – it will take your standard cheesy pasta to the next level and add some amazing textures in there!!
